New Zealand Veterinary Journal (NZVJ)

The New Zealand Veterinary Journal (NZVJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific publication of international repute published six times a year.

The complete archive of the New Zealand Veterinary Journal is available online in a fully indexed and searchable format to NZVA members, and to to other individuals, organisations, institutions, and veterinary libraries by subscription. Printed copies are available for a small additional cost.  The editorial standards are upheld by an Editorial Board comprising the Editor, Assistant Editor and distinguished academics.

Profile

The New Zealand Veterinary Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing original research findings, clinical observations, scientific correspondence and review articles covering all aspects of veterinary science, animal welfare, and animal health aspects of animal science.

The complete archive of the NZVJ is available in fully indexed and searchable format via www.sciquest.org.nz and www.ingentaconnect.com.

The NZVJ is also indexed by Index Medicus-MEDLINE® and abstracts and titles from 1964 are available on PubMed

The NZVJ specialises in articles related to grassland farming of cattle, sheep and deer, equine research, or that are of particular relevance to the New Zealand veterinary profession, but submissions from all disciplines are welcomed.

All scientific papers submitted for publication are independently refereed, regardless of source, and the opinions of contributors are their own and not necessarily those of the publisher or editor.

The NZVJ is published two-monthly by the New Zealand Veterinary Association. The whole of the literary matter of the NZVJ is copyright, New Zealand Veterinary Association Inc.
